Playwrights Horizons: Fly By Night

Playwright Horizons presents excerpts from Fly By Night prior to its New York premiere. In this darkly comic rock fable, a melancholy sandwich maker’s humdrum life is interrupted by two entrancing sisters. An ode to young love set against the backdrop of the Northeast Blackout of 1965, Fly By Night is about the discovery of hope in a world beset by darkness. Writers Will Connolly, Michael Mitnick, and Kimberly Rosenstock join director Carolyn Cantor in a discussion about the work.
