Poetry of the Perseids: Reading & Meteor Shower Livestream

The city lights may block out a clear view of the Perseid meteor shower, but poets Wendy Chin-Tanner, Timothy Donnelly, Margaret Rhee, and Allison Carter-Beaulé will create celestial wonders at the Berl’s Brooklyn Poetry Shop’s Poetry of the Perseids outer space/science-inspired poetry reading on Monday, August 12th. Starting at 7:30 p.m., we’ll celebrate both the annual Perseids meteor shower and the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing with poetry, astrophotography to inspire your own writing, and a Livestream of the Perseid meteor shower. This free event will be held at Berl’s storefront location at 141 Front Street in DUMBO.
