Poetry Panel: 4 Poets, 4 Quests

Discover four poets who explore the most amazing topics through poetry, whether it is boxing or current events, gender or the cruelty of love, masculinity or the restlessness of the human spirit.

Adam Berlin (THE STANDING EIGHT) is an award-winning novelist and poet. He teaches writing at John Jay College. Afaa Michael Weaver (SPIRIT BOXING) is a poet, short story writer, editor and professor at Simmons College. Alan Michael Parker (THE LADDER) is also an award-winning poet and novelist teaching at U. of Tampa. Jason Schneiderman (PRIMARY SOURCE) is Associate Editor of Painted Bride Quarterly and Poetry Editor of Bellevue Literary Review. His poetry and essays have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including American Poetry Review, The Best American Poetry, The Poetry Review, and The Penguin Book of the Sonnet. He is an Assistant Professor of English at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and lives in Brooklyn.
