She has extensively contributed to CBS’ Face the Nation and 60 Minutes, primarily covering politics and foreign affairs. Her experiences covering Washington for more than 20 years became the subject of her book Reporting Live (1999). Stahl’s work has led her to become a nationally acclaimed figure in news and journalism.

SPEAKERS:

Lesley Stahl is a television journalist that has spent most of her career with CBS News.  Since 1991, she has reported for CBS’ 60 Minutes. Her career in journalism has included a number of high profile reports and garnered important achievements, especially in foreign reporting. She graduated cum laude in 1963 form Wheaton College, where she served on the board of trustees.

Josette Sheeran is the seventh president and CEO of Asia Society. In the position, which she assumed in June 2013, she is responsible for leading and advancing the organization’s work throughout the U.S. and Asia, and across its disciplines of arts and culture, policy and business, and education. She is former Vice Chair of the World Economic Forum, Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme, Undersecretary at the U.S. Department of State, and Deputy United States Trade Representative.
