All the President’s Reporters SOLD OUT

With Jo Becker, Carl Bernstein, Jane Mayer, and Greg Miller. Moderated by David Rohde.

Jo Becker is an award-winning investigative reporter for the Times, where she was most recently part of the team to break the story on Donald Trump, Jr.’s, meeting with a Kremlin-linked lawyer. She was on the team of Times reporters who won the 2017 Pulitzer Prize in international reporting, and while at the Washington Post she won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize in national reporting, for a series she co-authored on Dick Cheney. She is the author of the 2014 Timesnotable book “Forcing the Spring: Inside the Fight for Marriage Equality,” and has taught at Princeton University.

Carl Bernstein is a writer and journalist. He was awarded the 1973 Pulitzer Prize in public service with Bob Woodward and the Washington Post, for their investigation of President Richard Nixon and Watergate. He is a contributing editor at Vanity Fair, and the author of five books, including the best-sellers “All the President’s Men,” which he co-wrote with Bob Woodward; “Loyalties: A Son’s Memoir”; and, most recently, “A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham Clinton.” He is a political analyst for CNN.

Jane Mayer has been a staff writer at The New Yorker since 1995. She writes about politics and national security for the magazine. She has profiled President Trump’s ghostwriter, Tony Schwartz, and Trump’s financial backer, Robert Mercer. The Times named both her 2016 best-seller, “Dark Money,” which began as a New Yorker piece about the Koch brothers, and her 2008 best-seller, “The Dark Side,” among the ten best books of the year for those years. Her honors include the George Polk Award, the John Chancellor Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Robert F. Kennedy Book Award.

Greg Miller is a writer for the Washington Post, covering national security and intelligence. He was part of the team of Post reporters who were awarded the 2014 Pulitzer Prize in public service for exposing N.S.A. surveillance, and he was a finalist for the 2013 Pulitzer Prize in national reporting. He co-authored the book “The Interrogators: Inside the Secret War Against Al Qaeda,” which was published in 2004. Before joining the Post, Miller was a correspondent for the Los Angeles Times.

David Rohde joined The New Yorker this spring, as the news director of newyorker.com. He is a global-affairs analyst for CNN and a former reporter for Reuters, the Times, and the Christian Science Monitor. He was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 1996 for stories that helped expose the Srebrenica massacre during the war in Bosnia, and in 2009 he shared a Pulitzer Prize with a team of Times reporters for coverage of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
