Quadrivium: “Creativity in Quarantine”

MoMath is excited to announce the return of Quadrivium, featuring jazz saxophonist and mathematician Marcus G. Miller, now online! In response to recent events, Marcus will focus this installment on an engaging discussion of how the study and practice of math and music can help us to navigate public crises of health and justice, and foster the kind of self-development that offers a brighter future.  Marcus will debut new music composed during quarantine and be joined in conversation by physicist and musician Stephon Alexander.  To best prepare for this special event, Marcus requests that you read his recent blog post: “Math, Music, and the Moral Imagination.”

This is a live-streamed event. Occasional video recordings are made available for a fee at videos.momath.org.
