Real Change: Mindfulness to Heal Ourselves & the World

We’re flooded daily with news that can trigger anger, grief, or pain, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel immobilized. Meditation, while not a substitute for action, can help us:

•Access energy to stay active
•Practice generosity with ourselves
•Summon courage to break through boundaries
•Reconnect us to a larger purpose

Whether we’re resolving conflicts with a crotchety neighbor or combating global warming, the fundamental principles of mindfulness practices can lead to the clarity and confidence needed to take the next step toward a better world. The evening will consist of a talk, meditation practice, and Q&A.

Note: Suitable for both new and experienced meditators.
