Reflections on 35 Years in Israel

Yossi Klein Halevi moved to Israel at the beginning of the first Lebanon War in summer 1982 and has lived in Israel for half the life of the state.

As we approach the 70th anniversary of Israel’s founding, Yossi will reflect on the radical changes Israel has undergone and will speak personally on why he came and why he stayed. How has Israel changed and how has it not changed? As we prepare to mark this anniversary, Yossi will dream with us about the road ahead for Israel and our people.

This talk will be followed by a discussion with Rabbi Peter Rubinstein.
