Rethinking the Blockbuster Exhibition: Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese

Frederick Ilchman, curator of paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and a specialist in the art of Renaissance Venice, will speak about his curatorial work for Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese: Rivals in Renaissance Venice, 2009, at the MFA and the Louvre among his other work experience.

Ilchman was also part of the curatorial team for the major Tintoretto exhibition in 2007 at the Museo del Prado, Madrid.

Ilchman’s research has been supported by a Fulbright Fellowship and grants from the Metropolitan Museum and Save Venice Inc.
