The film reveals the violin’s role in transforming superstar Polish violinist Bronislaw Huberman into a legendary humanitarian who saved Europe’s premiere Jewish musicians by forming the Palestine Orchestra. Following the film, Joshua Bell talks about how he discovered the Stradivarius in London, his holiday CD, Musical Gifts, and the children’s illustrated book The Man with the Violin.
