KT Sullivan, artistic director of The Mabel Mercer Foundation, will present an evening of “Rhyme, Women, and Song,” saluting the great female songwriters: Dorothy Fields (The Way You Look Tonight); Betty Comden (The Party’s Over); Carole King (Will You Love Me Tomorrow); Billie Holiday (God Bless the Child); Carolyn Leigh (The Best Is Yet To Come); Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now), and more. The New Yorker called “vocally, comically, and theatrically assured as cabaret performers get.” Sullivan will be accompanied by the incomparable Jon Weber at the piano.
