Session I: Stylish Settings
April 2, 9:30 am–12:30 pm
Sarah Coffin, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum curator, introduces the history, etiquette, and global examples of tabletop decoration. Participants arrange everyday items into a personalized tablesetting design.

Session II: Stir It Up (at Brooklyn Metal Works, 604 Dean St., Brooklyn, NY)
April 9,
11 am–2 pm
Work with Brooklyn Metal Works to learn about the art of crafting utensils. Participants experiment with technique and tools, and make their own metal spoon or ladle to take home.

Session III: Framing Food
April 16, 9:30 am–12:30 pm
Food stylist Kristen Hess shares the tricks of the trade creating visually enticing and edible compositions. Participants compose and photograph mouthwatering plates.

$250 three-session workshop
Includes all materials, admission fees, access to studio space, and light refreshments.
