Join us for the third installment of author Wiesen Cook’s towering biography, “Eleanor Roosevelt: Volume 3.” Presenting an unblinking portrait of the former first lady, it’s an examination of her passion and commitment, inspiring generations of Americans to seek a better future for all people.

Blanche Wiesen Cook is Distinguished Professor of History and Women’s Studies at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She is the recipient of the L.A. Times Biography Prize, the Lambda Literary Award and a New York Times best-selling author. She was also Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Freedom of Information and Access Committee of the Organization of American Historians, and was actively involved in working to maintain the integrity of the Freedom of Information Act.
