SeismoDome: Sights and Sounds of Earthquakes and Global Seismology

Earthquakes happen frequently—but what causes them? Why are they unpredictable? What do they tell us about Earth's deep interior? Explore these questions with collaborating Earth scientists, astrophysicists, and sound artists, as they bring to the Planetarium dome the sights and sounds of seismic waves moving through and around the planet. Through movies and sound, explore five earthquakes from the last decade, as observed from space and then, from deep inside Earth.
