Author, musician, and National Book Award nominee John Darnielle (The Mountain Goats, Wolf in White Van) returns just in time for Halloween to curate and introduce an evening of speculative, spooky, sensational stories, read by Kathryn Erbe (Law & Order: Criminal Intent), Peter Jay Fernandez (Luke Cage), Molly Ringwald (Riverdale), and Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water). This eclectic evening also features a special musical performance from Darnielle, debuting the brand-new song “Skeleton’s Tooth.”
Selected Shorts is produced by Symphony Space and broadcast on more than 150 stations around the country. The Selected Shorts podcast consistently ranks as one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes. The series began in 1985 and enjoys sold-out performances to this day.
