Fifty years after Rachel Carson's Silent Spring, its most important legacy is that nature is vulnerable to human intervention. Discuss the impact of this book on today’s world and what people have learned from the ideas of Rachel Carson.

Joining the panel will be representatives from Greenshores NYC, the Newtown Creek Alliance, Global Kids and community environmentalist Eric Baard.
