Perennial Celebrate Brooklyn! favorite Alloy Orchestra's latest score tackles the 1926 adventure/drama classic The Son of the Sheik, Rudolf “Latin Lover” Valentino’s final performance on the silver screen. Valentino is in top form starring as both the wise old Sheik and his impulsive son Ahmed in this wild tale of passion, betrayal and redemption. Arguably a better film than the 1922 original, this sequel was a box office smash, grossing over $1 million in its first year. When Valentino died suddenly on the eve of its release, the ensuing mass hysteria further solidified his status as the great hunk of the silent era.
