Stop by the Museum’s lobby for performances by some of the city’s best jazz musicians. In September, enjoy a performance by Siren Xypher, a musical collective of three performing composers: Melanie Dyer (viola), Mara Rosenbloom (piano), and Kyoko Kitamura (vocals). Together they present intricate original works that combine art songs, spoken word, and free-flowing improvisation. The group’s love for and expertise in these genres generate deep sonic conversations of humor, warmth, and surprise. Presented in partnership with Jazz Foundation of America.
Free and open to the public. Reserve tickets to visit the galleries.
