Taking Care: A Story of Common History

Artist Anne Mourier-DeFalco’s Taking Care is a performance piece about bonds created between people and their pasts through simple domestic objects. The artist will hand wash white pieces of clothing or linens belonging to BPL Librarians that hold meaning for them.  She will gather the librarians’ stories and memories about the items and embroider the most compelling stories on white towels.
