Academy Award-winning actress Patricia Arquette (Boyhood) talks with breakout star Joey King (The Kissing Booth) about their highly anticipated new series on Hulu, The Act, which is set to release on March 20.

Telling startling, stranger-than-fiction true crime stories, the first season follows Dee Dee Blanchard (Arquette) and her daughter Gypsy Rose (King). Dee Dee, who reportedly had undiagnosed Munchausen Syndrome by proxy, had been making her daughter pass herself off as younger and pretend to be disabled and chronically ill, thus subjecting her to unnecessary surgery and medication, and controlling her through occasional physical and psychological abuse.
