Taming Globalization: International Law, the U.S. Constitution, and the New World Order

In collaboration with the New-York Historical Society and Oxford University Press, the Bryant Park Reading Room presents a series of lectures on popular topics to stimulate your mind, including Civil War history, politics, biography and the economy.

Tens of millions of foreign citizens live in the United States, and dozens of international institutions—such as the International Court of Justice, the World Trade Organization and border commissions—cast a legal net across the globe. In this program, John Yoo discusses the need to re-conceptualize the U.S. Constitution so it can better address the challenges arising in an increasingly globalized society.

This program will be held at the Reading Room in Bryant Park. The Reading Room is located on the 42nd Street side of the park between 5th and 6th Avenues. Look for the burgundy and white umbrellas. For more information, please visit www.bryantpark.org.
