Test Tube Comedy with Raj Sivaraman

Are you a comedy fan and have you ever wondered “why is this making laugh?” Are you a science fan and want to do a little science but don’t have the grant money or PhD to do it? Well Test Tube Comedy is your answer. As a comedian and scientist, Raj Sivaraman will try to answer big questions about comedy using even bigger experiments! Questions like “Can jokes help us learn better?” “Does racial humor make us more racist?” and “How can you find love through laughter?” will be answered using good old-fashioned science.

This month, we will be looking at whether racial humor makes people more racist, featuring standup from Courtney Fearrington and Shalewa Sharpe, and all the racial humor science a journal subscription can buy.

With Test Tube Comedy, you can learn a little about science and a lot about laughter.
