The Pulitzer Prize-winning Jennifer Egan and best-selling Celeste Ng come together for a compelling discussion of their new novels Manhattan Beach and Little Fires Everywhere, two stories of family secrets and the children who discover them.

Jennifer Egan, author of A Visit from the Goon Squad, presents a compelling story of a young girl who grows up to unravel her father’s secrets while shaping her own life at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Celeste Ng follows up  her best-selling debut, Everything I Never Told You with a riveting novel, tracing the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and the enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives.

At the Thalia Book Club, readers and writers meet for intimate conversations about compelling new books and favorite classics in fiction, essay, biography and more. Evenings include an actor performing an excerpt, an interview, and a conversation with the audience.

Book sales will be provided by Symphony Space. There will be a book signing following the event.
