Back for a 14th year (to the delight of devoted fans), Three Rooms Press will host its annual Charles Bukowski Memorial Reading on Tuesday, March 9, 2019 at 7 pm in the first-ever virtual edition of this tribute. The event features readings of Bukowski’s work by renowned authors and poets and brings to light the enduring relevance of this cult icon.

Held annually since 2008, the Charles Bukowski Memorial Reading will feature livestreamed performances of Bukowski poems by longtime fans of his work including famed monologist Mike Daisey (The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs), musician/performance artist Jennifer Blowdryer, poets Kim Addonizio, S.A. GriffinPuma Perl, and George Wallace, and playwrights Richard Vetere and Michael Puzzo. In addition, an original video by legendary punk bassist Mike Watt will be premiered during the event. Three Rooms Press co-directors Peter Carlaftes and Kat Georges will host.
