You are invited to an exclusive, after-hours reception and preview of the Rare Posters auction at Rennert’s Gallery. The evening will include a gallery talk-and-walk––led by poster expert, and gallery owner, Jack Rennert––which will feature fine and rare Art Deco pieces. This enjoyable evening will also give you an opportunity to meet many of the Deco enthusiasts attending ADSNY’s Autumn in New York: Deco Weekend, who will be coming from around the world.

About the speaker:

Jack Rennert is recognized throughout the world as a foremost authority in the field of poster art. He started his first poster company in 1964 and has become a notable speaker, dealer, and auctioneer since that time. Rennert has written a dozen books on the subject of poster art, including the definitive catalogues raisonnés for artists from Mucha to Cappitllo, as well as from Paul Colin to Tomi Ungerer.

In addition, Rennert recently authored “A New Way of Seeing: History of Deco Travel Posters” in ADSNY’s Winter 2018 Art Deco New York journal, which can be viewed and ordered here.
