This illustrated performance with Allan Zola Kronzek, an author, educator, and magician, dedicated to the world's second oldest profession—conjuring, conjures up an intriguing evening of mystery, history, and trickery.  Learn why medieval magicians were feared as sorcerers.  Discover why a  treatise on witch persecution was the first book to explain magic tricks.  Experience magic as it was performed on the streets of ancient Greece, at an 18-th century English fair, and on the modern stage.

People love magic, but few know its amazing history, or how past societies regarded the art.  This lively and informative presentation combines live performance, audience participation, paintings, photographs and theatrical posters to bring to life The Art of Fooling through the ages.
