The Inimitable Harvey Fierstein

Unabashedly gay, unabashedly proud and unabashedly talented, in the early 1980’s Harvey Fierstein burst into the national consciousness as Arnold in Torch Song Trilogy and has remained there ever since. He brought Edna Turnblad, Tevye and Bella Abzug to life on Broadway, and wrote the books for La Cage aux FollesNewsiesKinky Boots and Casa Valentina. In the process, he won four Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards for performance and writing, a Hollywood Star, an Emmy nomination – and is still a nice Jewish boy from Brooklyn. Join Harvey for a schmooze with Academy Award winner Elinor Burkett.

Via Zoom Conferencing
