The Personal Monologue

The personal monologue is about one voice telling a story you want to hear. The monologue is among the most complex writerly forms—it requires equal parts content, performance, and on-stage presence. We’ve chosen a variety of expertly written, original short monologues, each of which relates a compelling narrative about what it means to be alive right now. These are relevant, real-life personal stories, but with universal application. As you listen to these tales, we invite you to reflect on your own ongoing story and how what is being said has meaning to and for you. Please note: This event occurs in person.

RSVP does not guarantee entry. Doors open to the public 15 minutes before the event. Please arrive early to check in.

Our coat check is limited. Please do not bring any large bags or backpacks.
