Third Thursday Artist Talk: Russell Jones

Join the Art Center on October 20 for our 3rd Thursday Artist Talk with Russell Jones.

Russell Jones started his artistic career in New York City as a magazine illustrator and graphic designer but was always drawn to metalsmithing and jewelry. He formally opened his jewelry studio in 2007, specializing in handmade jewelry incorporating and unusual mix of precious and semi-precious gemstones. His work has been worn by Dame Helen Mirren, Alicia Keys and Meryl Streep and has been featured in many magazines including The New York Times, W and Elle. Russell’s work was also included in the internationally acclaimed book, The New Jewelers by Olivier Dupon published in 2013 by Thames and Hudson. Exhibitions include: Open Concept, Rock On and Forces of Nature/Natural Forces and his work is available in many fine boutiques and jewelry stores across the United States and Puerto Rico.
