Tibetan Medicine Workshop: Dr. Tawni Tidwell CANCELED

How can we find health and balance while facing exposure to ever-increasing and hitherto unknown toxins and cataclysms? Tibetan medicine may help in this time of crisis.

Tibetan medical philosophy recognizes that the mind and body have the innate ability to bring about healing yet inextricably depend on relationships with the world around us. These interdependencies are critical to cultivating external and internal balance. Dr. Tawni Tidwell’s presentation will be interwoven with experiential moments and interactive interludes. Attendees will be invited to think through contemporary ecological and health conditions from the perspective of the Tibetan medicine topics and explore its diagnostic methods.

This program is presented with the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
