Smith is the author of two books of poems and the recipient of the James Laughlin Award and this year’s Pulitzer Prize for her book, Life on Mars. Tina Chang has written three volumes of poetry and won numerous prizes and awards, she’s been the Poet Laureate of Brooklyn since 2010.
