Beyond the High Line: Transforming Detroit

Faye Nelson, Executive Director of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, and Phillip Cooley, Director of Ponyride and board member of Detroit’s Roosevelt Park, will give a presentation on efforts to turn Detroit’s out-of-use real estate and infrastructure into parks, such as the Riverfront, the Dequindre Cut, Roosevelt Park, and more. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with Friends of the High Line Co-Founder Robert Hammond and question-and-answer session with the audience.
