TREVOR NUNN’S PERICLES: A Collaboration with Theatre for a New Audience

Shakespeare’s Pericles is one of his most fanciful, unpredictable and genre-defying playsfull of riddles and resurrections, shipwrecks, lost daughters and a veritable travelogue of the Near East. It is also a deep and moving look at human fragility, broken families, missed opportunities, and the power of individual dignity in the face of “the thousand naturals shocks that flesh is heir to.” Come join us as we examine this puzzling and delightful play with cast members from a new production at Theatre for a New Audience’s Polonsky Shakespeare Center, directed by the master himself, Trevor Nunn.

At Polonsky Shakespeare Center, 262 Ashland Place, Brooklyn
