Tribeca's Quiet Corner Tour

Highlighting Hudson and Greenwich Streets, this walking tour with architectural historian Matt Postal visits the northwest section of Tribeca, where solid masonry warehouses and an occasional high-rise define downtown’s streetscape. We’ll view the former site of St. John’s Park (and Terminal), as well as an American Express horse stable, an 1850s sugar refinery, and a ten-story pharmaceutical factory. Stylish additions to this historic neighborhood approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission will also be contemplated, including apartment buildings and hotels.
