Trinity Talks: A Conversation with Poet Christian Wiman

Theologian, poet, and professor Christian Wiman returns to Trinity Talks to celebrate the launch of his newest poetry collection, The Dance.

Called "the best devotional poet writing in English" by Poetry magazine, Wiman explores what he calls "the slow dance of grace and circumstance" — the fragility of the world, the weight of sorrow, and the possibility of joy. He reads from The Dance and is joined in conversation by Summerlee Staten, Trinity's Executive Director of Faith Formation and Education, for a discussion on faith, doubt, and the human search for the divine.

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. with light refreshments. Books available for purchase and signing after the talk. Free; registration recommended. Seating first come, first served.
