Truth Outreach, Inc. Presents the Film A Good American: A Talk with William Binney

The film A Good American tells the story of William Binney, the top code breaker in the NSA, and a visionary, thwarted in–or prevented from carrying out–his mission to protect the American people. A thirty-plus year veteran of the National Security Agency who resigned from the NSA in disgust in October of 2001, just after the September 11th attacks killing 3,000 people in the destruction of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, Binney’s story is a tragic cautionary tale that all Americans need to know.

The film reveals that a security system Binney had designed prior to 9/11 called “ThinThread”, could have prevented the 9/11 attack from occurring, had he and his associates not been deliberately prevented from deploying it. Instead, “universal surveillance” capabilities that he personally designed to protect Americans from terrorist attack were deployed after 9/11 to illegally monitor virtually every citizen of the United States in possession of any electronic device.

Today’s policy of perpetual war, requiring perpetual surveillance of everyone under the cover of “eternal vigilance” is the means by which today’s America has already been transformed into Orwell’s dystopian vision, with cell phone and other electronic devices serving as the modern version of 1984‘s ubiquitous TV screens. A Good American will reveal to you how we have all come to love Big Brother, and why, by returning to the scene of the crime–September 11, 2001–we might yet bring the agencies to justice that prevented A Good American from fulfilling his mission to protect his nation from all enemies–foreign and domestic.
