Join us each month for our Lunch and Learn Series – an intimate conversation with agency staff and special guests on the collections of the Municipal Archives and Library, as well as the history of New York City.

This month, film and audiovisual archivist Christopher Nicols will take us into the “vaults” of our audiovisual collections to explore New York City history as seen through the WNYC-TV video collection and surveillance films captured by the New York Police Department (NYPD). This footage explores the socio-economic challenges affecting our city during historic times.
