Twentieth Annual Fanya Gottesfeld Heller Conference for Educators

This year’s Fanya Gottesfeld Heller Conference for Educators will introduce teachers to the exhibition Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. Teachers will hear from exhibition curator and historian Robert Jan van Pelt, to learn more about the camp in the context of other major camps, as well as to consider the experience of Jewish prisoners.  Paul Salmons, scholar and educational curator of the exhibition, will present materials developed for classroom instruction to supplement students’ visits to the exhibition.

This program is free, but pre-registration is required by April 28. Light refreshments will be served before the conference, beginning at 4 PM.
