Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition Gala Performance and Awards

The Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition will come to an exciting grand finale with the March 21st Gala performance and announcement of medalists.  The most outstanding of entrants, ages 11-26, will receive company contracts, scholarships to dance academies around the world, and other prizes.  Awards will be presented following the performance to those chosen by the distinguished panel of judges of company and dance academy directors, led by prima ballerina Nina Ananiashvili, director of the State Ballet of Georgia in Tblisi.  The Gala promises to be a highlight of the dance season, a feast of gifted dancers in the classical ballet and contemporary dance styles, selected from the 150+ entrants from countries from Poland to Portugal.
