Virtual Screening and Discussion about “Stateless, Arrogant and Lunatic,” a Film About the White Bus Operation of 1945

In the spring of 1945, the Swedish Red Cross sent a fleet of white busses to rescue what became over 30,000 concentration camp inmates. The Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) will screen “Stateless, Arrogant and Lunatic,” a documentary about this operation, and then host a virtual discussion with Marcus Storch, whose father pushed the Red Cross to act, and filmmaker Lena Einhorn. The discussion will be moderated by concert producer and the nephew of Marcus Storch, Tomer Adaddi.
