Virtual Summer Celebration: Adventures in Aviation

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum has one of the most varied aircraft collections in the nation, with five branches of the U.S. armed forces represented, as well as several distinctive aircraft from around the world. Join us on a discovery of aircraft design and learn about the four forces of flight. Let your imagination soar as we virtually explore the historic spaces of the ship. Learn about the weird and wonderful world of aircraft from Eric Boehm, Curator of Aviation & Aircraft Restoration, who will lead a STEM-based aircraft design activity. This exciting event will be hosted by Gerrie Bay Hall, Director of School and Teacher Programs and Jonathan MilardSenior Museum Educator and is open to families and learners of all ages.
