Virtual Veteran’s Day Program: Nassau County’s Connection to the “Ghost Army” of World War II

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) presents a virtual program on Zoom, Nassau County’s Connection to the “Ghost Army” of World War II. HMTC’s Museum and Programming Director, Dr. Thorin Tritter, will host a discussion with Rick Beyer, President of the Ghost Army Legacy Project to talk about this once secret military unit, their accomplishments during WWII, and their connection to both Nassau County and HMTC. The program will share a recently discovered “Ghost Army” flag.
