What Happened, Ms. Simone?

Join the National Arts Club for a screening of the documentary film What Happened, Ms. Simone?, about the life of the great Nina Simone, an American singer, songwriter, musician, arranger, and civil rights activist.

Simone’s music spanned styles including classical, jazz, blues, folk, R&B, gospel, and pop. Her musical style fused gospel and pop with classical music, in particular John Sebastian Bach and that was birth of musical fusion unexpected of the times.

This is an in-person event. Proof of vaccine will be required. Masks are also required.
