Heidi Schreck and Laurence Tribe in Conversation with Dahlia Lithwick

She’s the whip-smart playwright, performer and screenwriter (BillionsNurse JackieI Love Dick) whose runaway hit play, What the Constitution Means to Me (“The best and most important new play of the season”—NYT) is wowing audiences and critics at the Helen Hayes Theater.

He’s the Harvard Law professor (Barack Obama was his assistant in his freshman year) who has helped write constitutions for the Czech Republic, South Africa and the Marshall Islands—and who is an enormous fan of Schreck’s play.

Moderating the discussion is the award-winning journalist Dahlia Lithwick, a senior editor and legal correspondent for Slate, and a frequent constitutional commentator on NPR and MSNBC. Join them for an illuminating and sure-to-be fascinating conversation as they discuss what the Constitution means today and how the play has brought it to life.
