An in-depth discussion of Maurice Sendak's life and art, and his role as a revolutionary children’s book author/illustrator who challenged cultural taboos and enriched the picture book art-form from 1952-2012.
Panelists include children’s book historian/author Leonard Marcus, School of Visual Arts Program Co-Chair Steven Heller, retired Westchester Library System Youth Services Director Judith Rovenger and Rosenbach Museum & Library Sendak Collection Curator Patrick Rodgers.
