WORD Presents: Galentine’s Day Party with Romance Authors Sarah MacLean, Maya Rodale, and More

This event takes place at Villain (50 N 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11249)

Hey, gals! Join us for a fun-filled night with romance authors Sarah MacLean, Maya Rodale, and more to be announced. There will be raffles, games, and an open bar from 7 to 9 pm.

MODERATOR: Maddie Caldwell has been reading romance novels since she first stole one off her grandmother’s bookshelf fifteen years ago. To fill the time in-between trips to Regency London and the Demon Realms, she works as an editor at Grand Central Publishing and runs the Romance Book Group at WORD Brooklyn.

Sarah MacLean wrote her first romance novel on a dare, and never looked back. She is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical romances, and the author of a monthly column at The Washington Post celebrating the best of the romance genre. She lives in New York City with her husband, daughter, dog and a ridiculously large collection of romance novels. She loves to hear from readers.

Maya Rodale began reading romance novels in college at her mother’s insistence. She is now the bestselling and award-winning author of smart and sassy romances. She lives in New York City with her darling dog and a rogue of her own.

Suleikha Snyder is an editor, writer, American desi, lifelong geek, and author of South-Asian themed contemporary and erotic romance. A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusivity in publishing, Suleikha is frequently ranting when she should really be adding to her body of work — which includes three Bollywood romances, Spice and Smoke, Spice and Secrets and Bollywood and the Beast, and several shorts and novellas. Suleikha lives in New York City, finding inspiration in Bollywood films, daytime and primetime soaps, and anything that involves chocolate or bacon. Visit her online at www.suleikhasnyder.com and follow her on Twitter @suleikhasnyder.

Damon Suede grew up out-n-proud deep in the anus of right-wing America, and escaped as soon as it was legal. Though new to romance fiction, Damon has been writing for print, stage, and screen for two decades. He’s won some awards, but counts his blessings more often: his amazing friends, his demented family, his beautiful husband, his loyal fans, and his silly, stern, seductive Muse who keeps whispering in his ear, year after year. Get in touch with him at DamonSuede.com.
