World Refugee Day Festival at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music

In celebration of World Refugee Day, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and Spaceworks are partnering with a broad coalition of organizations that support immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers to host an evening of music, food, and community.

The Music Festival will feature more than 20 performances from musicians from every West Africa, Brazil, Russia, the Philippines, Mexico, Romania, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Serbia, Iraq.

We are so proud to partner with Business Center for New Americans, CAMBA, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, CWS Immigration and Refugee Program, HIAS, International Rescue Committee in New York & New Jersey, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, Spaceworks, Tanabel Tables and Upwardly Global.

The event is FREE and open to the public! Concerts will take place throughout the inside and outside of our building! Activities include crafts, henna, and dance!
