Stephanie Dickinson was raised in rural Iowa and has passed time in Wyoming, Oregon, Minnesota, Texas, and Louisiana. She now lives in New York City. It is now published in a limited edition by Spuyten Duvyil.

Austin Duffy grew up in Dundalk, Ireland and studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin. He moved to the United States in 2006 to pursue a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, at which time he enrolled at The Writers Studio. In 2011 Austin was awarded RTE’s Francis MacManus award for his short story Orca. His debut novel This Living and Immortal Thing (Granta Books) was published in 2016. He is currently a practising medical oncologist at the National Cancer Institute in Washington DC.

Kimberly Farrar is the author of two chapbooks, The Familiar and The Brief Clear. Her work has recently been published in Flash Fiction Magazine, New Ohio Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, and Salamander. She has been nominated for a 2017 Pushcart Prize, and she received a 2010 Allen Ginsberg award. Kim teaches at LaGuardia Community College.

She has contributed to the anthologies No Achilles: War Poetry, Write to Meow, and Poems on Loss Anthology. Eleanor is the founder of The Writers Studio Tucson branch, where she served as the director and the advanced workshop teacher for ten years.

Founded in 1986 by Pulitzer Prize winner Philip Schultz, The Writers Studio is an independent creative writing program, offering 10-week workshops in New York City (Manhattan and Brooklyn), San Francisco, Tucson, Amsterdam, the Hudson Valley and online. It is founded on the belief that when the desire is strong enough, anyone can learn the technique necessary for full creative expression.
