Yoga Workshop with Legendary Sri Dharma Mittra

Celebrate the lives of those affected by Breast Cancer with world renowned Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra in this three-hour workshop to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Grab your yoga mat and deepen your practice at this in-depth, fun filled, and enlightening experience to help the fight against Breast Cancer.

This very special three-hour yoga intensive takes place on Saturday, October 20th at 3pm at the Dharma Yoga Center in Manhattan.

Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, everyone is encouraged to come together to practice. Each yoga pose you take is one step closer to a cure.

“Compassion is the ability to see yourself in others. Everything that lives and breathes is just a house for the Divine Spark. There is ultimately no male or female- just sameness everywhere.” –Dharma Mittra

Called “Maha Sadhana,” or “Great Practice” in Sanskrit, this program led by 79-year-old Master Yogi Sri Dharma Mittra, begins with Purification Practices, Spiritual Discourse– the sharing of knowledge and priceless advice for aspiring yogis, Pranayama-breathing Practices to calm the mind and invigorate the body, and powerful Mantras, to stimulate the chakras and deepen one’s consciousness.

It continues with a challenging 2-hour Asana Practice, or postures that keep the physical body healthy by stretching, toning and strengthening, followed by a deep Yoga Nidra(Guided Meditation) to rejuvenate, refresh, and revitalize your entire system.

The program concludes with his signature Asana Satsang Jam– Students join each other in a large circle, and those that wish may offer their favorite postures to the teacher, the higher self, and each other. Prepare to soak it all in. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
