Young Poets Reading

The 14th annual Young Poets Reading introduces three up-and-coming writers.

Adam Fitzgerald’s most recent volume is George Washington (2016). It was preceded by The Late Parade (2013). He teaches at Rutgers University.

Beth Bachmann’s most recent volume is CEASE (2018), preceded by Temper (2009) and Do Not Rise (2015). She has won, among other awards, the Alice di Castagnola Award from the Poetry Society of America.

Shane McCrae’s most recent volume is The Gilded Auction Block (2019), preceded by five others, including Mule (2011), Blood (2013), and In the Language of My Captor (2017), the last a finalist for the National Book Award. He teaches at Columbia University.
